Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-06-02  evilprince: I think you should have the site set up so you you can play chess over the internet and I know you said that you should go to other sites for that but school blocks those sites.
Mar-06-02  Webmaster: So if we offered live chess, they would block us too? :(

The truth is, there are at least a dozen sites on the internet where you can play live chess, but there are only two or three sites like this one. One day we may offer live chess, but we will never lose the focus of archiving the best and most instructive historical games.

Warm regards,
Chessgames.com staff

Jun-11-14  Ziryab: 9.Nf2 looks logical, but I wonder whether Anderssen considered 9.d4! Perhaps he found the lines too complex and was unwilling to part with the knight after his thrashing by Von der Lasa in the Muzio five years earlier.
