Apr-26-10  Brassica oleracea: The sacrifice 10 b2-b4 isn't as strong that Black could not search for possible equal play. 16 ... ♘e4 is playable in this game, e.g. 17 ♗c7 ♕e7 and a first thing White has to avoid is a sac 18 ...♘xf2, so e.g. 18 ♗b5 ♕e6 19 ♖a5 h6 looks good for Black.

  kbob: serving in my usual capacity as a dumbwaiter for stockfish, 16. ... Ne4 17. Bf4 Ndf6 18. Bc7 Qe7 19. Ne5 Nd2 20. Nc4 21. Nxc4 exd4 22. Rxc4 b4; wing couplet vs. center pawns or 19. ... Ng4 20. Bxe4 dxe4 21. Nxg4 Bxg4 22. Qxb7 Be2 where white has an expandable looking protected queen pawn. These and other similar lines including the Brassica oleracea suggestion get about a +1.00 evaluation favoring white.
