  al wazir: What??
Jul-07-05  EmperorAtahualpa: Clock?
Jul-07-05  Knight13: Probably a resignation trap? I don't see how White wins here.

Jack Kerouac: Obviously the game was resigned due to the unfortunate behavior of the bishops. Or maybe Henry was just Bird-dogging it.....

keypusher: I am sure the game was drawn here and the result is wrong.
Jun-27-06  percyblakeney: I've seen a couple of tables over Paris 1878, and they claim that both games between Bird and Englisch were decisive, one win each. Maybe something is wrong with the gamescore:

Jun-11-07  sneaky pete: It's a draw from round 15 of the 1912 San Sebastian tournament: Spielmann vs J Perlis, 1912.
Jul-09-11  Sem: Actually it should be 0-1. The queenside pawns indicate the right half circle of the 0, while the bishops clearly mark the 1.
Jul-09-11  psmith: Is this

Englisch vs Bird, 1878

the actual game from the tournament? Or is it a "friendly"?
