Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-20-03  drukenknight: another early sicilian w/ Paulsen. He gets a nice opening out of it, I wonder if people of that day were impressed by blacks formation. BUt he is playing a tactically strong Blackburne, what do you think of: 26...Bxd4?
Nov-20-03  Open Defence: after cxd4 Nc4 wouldn't play be simmilar ?

GrahamClayton: Interesting to see how Blackburne effectively wastes 3 tempi in getting his bishop to g2 via d2 and f3.

Good middlegame play - firstly nullifying Black's threats on the king-side, and then opening the centre with 45. d5 and 47. e6.
