Aug-11-02  morphynoman2: I think white must play 20. Bxg7 and has some chances to win. Blackburne, with an enormous skill, gives a quality in exchange of a victorious pawn invasion.

  Sneaky: I agree, Bxg7 looks good, but with that horrible bishop on g2 getting in the way of things, I doubt there is a winning attack. In any case, allowing Blackburne to post a knight on e3 was horrible.
Aug-12-02  bishop: Perhaps 19.g5 instead of h5 was the right way to continue the attack.At any rate Mieses should have certainly taken time out for Kb1.
