Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-24-04  ruylopez900: Quite a nice end by Blackburne, though admittedly it was against the infamous World Champ (of the blunder maybe....and occasional brilliance) NN.
Mar-24-04  slylonewolf: Is it correct to say that White has destroyed his pawn structure for no gain? Even the d-pawn is still rooted at its start point...
Mar-25-04  ruylopez900: I wouldn't say that NN really destroyed his pawn structure. The backwards d-pawn hurt and moving the c-pawn when he later castled long hurt but nothing extremely serious. (like doubled, isolated, hanging rook pawns :))
