Feb-20-04  mikhs: What's to stop 25...Nxd2 ??
Feb-20-04  aulero: I'm fairly sure that White played 25.Qc2, 25.Qd2 is a score error.
Feb-20-04  mikhs: You are correct. This game was entered twice in to the database. And the 2nd copy has 25.Qc2 instead of 25.Qd2
May-29-11  dull2vivid: 24. Ng5 was the losing move, because black can defend: Not easy to see, but white should realize his visions of glorious attack are not well founded because black has so much power able to help defend his king. White should have equal chances with 24. Re1.

Besides this, move 18, white wanted to open the diagonal for his bishop-queen battery; black’s power was too consolidated, though, for this to be of any advantage – very hard to judge; therefore, I think white would be more accurate with 17.d5 because his capture dxe allows black a free game with ideas of nc5 with a transfer to a home on the d-file. White should be calm and controlling instead of his freeing of black's game, who played cramped with the goal of relief.
