Sep-12-09		jerseybob: I don't like black's handling of the first 8 moves; these symmetrical schemes almost always favor the side with the extra tempo. Nice centralization of Queen and knights by Botvinnik. The question is, did black have time to defend the a-pawn on move 33 - say 33..a6. Direct incursions on 34 like Nf6ch and Ne5 don't seem to lead to a direct win, so maybe 34.g4 first to keep black minor pieces out of f5 is the way to go. Then if 34..h5? 35.Nf6ch,Kh8 36.gh5 wins.
