Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-08-09  ToTheDeath: 15.Nf6+ was quite strong, probably winning. Larsen was just lost from the opening, but Botvinnik couldn't convert against the younger man. It's not too surprising that he retired from professional competition a few years after.
Dec-23-10  ColdSong: Yes, black seems busted after 15.Nf6.Did Larsen play this way to avoid the old master's preparation? That's interesting to see how black can simply survive from the 13th to the 28th move with only moves(21...Re8!,22...e6!,24...Nd7!)The rook ending after 37...Rc5 is worth a look:passed "a" pawn, weak black king and e pawn:is there really no problems for black?
