Kibitzer's Corner
May-24-09  Brown: Bronstein decides to make things "interesting" with 24..Bxh3 when he could have a more sane position after 24..Qa5 and 25.Nc5. White is much better after the straightforward 25.Bxh3 Rxe4 26.Nxe4.

After this, I think white has a better chance after 29.Bxb6 axb6 <..Bxd6 30.Nxd6 Qg4 31.Rd4> 30.Rxb6. The question will be whether white can keep his Rs coordinated. The knight has a nice square at c3, and can join the attack or defense quite quickly after the rooks are working.

So, after 29.Bxb6 axb6 30.Rxb6 f5!? <31.Nd6?! Qe6 and white will have coordination problems> 31.Nc3! f4 32.Rb5 and white is certainly better than in the game.
