Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-05-02  ughaibu: Bronstein at his most inscutably obscure.

drukenknight: 21...Qxg2+ looks like a better way to keep tempo and break up some pawns
Dec-05-02  ughaibu: I like 24. .. Qd6 25. b4, Rde8. It's really a miracle that Geller gets away with it.
Jan-22-04  ughaibu: I dont see why Bronstein rejected 24....Qd6, 25....Nc3 looks stronger than the Rde8 I suggested earlier.
Jan-31-04  ughaibu: What if Geller takes the bishop 14.g4? How about 14....Nf5? For example 15.Rh3 g4 16.Rh1 Ng3 17.Rg1 Nd4 18.Be3 000 19.Bf2 Nf3 20.f3 Rd1 21.Rd1 Nf1 22.Kf1 ef3? or 15.Kf2 Ng3 16.Kg3 Nd4 17.Nd5? or something else....
Mar-26-05  Sydro: 19...Rxh4 seems strong.
20.Rxg6 Rh1+
21.Kf2 Rxd1
22.Bxe4 Nxg6
23.Bxg6+ Kf8

Black is exchange up.

RookFile: Geller sure was cold blooded.
Oct-14-08  ughaibu: Yes, 19....Rh4 looks like a win. Anything wrong with it?
