Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-22-04  kostich in time: In 1982, a greeting card company in Chicago, whose owner knew William Martz, arranged for a small, but strong international tournament-Huebner, Browne, Martz, Korchnoi, Dzindihasvili, and (I think) Lein. It was category 12. Heubner won it with terrifying efficiency. At one point, the company had an actor in an Easter bunny suit suit down to "play " with Heubner. The phot, from Chess Life, is priceless.Heubner simply sat with a calm expression as if nothing was going on.
