Sep-26-10  Everett: Allowing the trade of queens with Qd2 is interesting. Black does not bite, nor does he capture white's dark-squared bishop on move 18. His own queen certainly didn't appreciate this by the end of the game.
Mar-14-12  jackpawn: Stein's Qd3 was very original. It wouldn't even cross my mind. That's why he was a world class player and I'm . . not.
Mar-14-12  Danzowich: Is Qd3 really good? Can someone explain?
Mar-14-12  King Death: Here's another source with what must be the right 9th move, Qd3 makes no sense:

Mar-14-12  jackpawn: <King Death> Thank you very much for clearing this up. Qd3 looked totally wrong to me, but Stein was known for original play and I thought maybe it was too 'deep' for my limited insight! No, I was right! Thanks again.

Travis Bickle: I think black went terribly wrong moving the a pawn 4 times beginning at move ..9 wasting all those tempo's.
Mar-14-12  Penguincw: 5.Qa4+, I always knew it was a good move (along with 1.d4 d5 2.c4 dxc4 <3.e4>) ! :)
