Doctor Who: why did Tal play 17...Bxd5? If he played 17...Bxa1 wouldnt he be winning the exchange?
Jun-21-02  bishop: Doctor Who if 17...Bxa1 then 18.Qxa1 Bxd5 19.Bh6 f6 20 Rd1 and white winds up with two pieces for the rook.
Aug-18-05  DanRoss53: Oy. 15. d5? makes my head hurt. Still, a nice game by the Player of the Day.
Sep-09-05  alexandrovm: two pieces for a rook...and not just only any two pieces but the pair of bishops, that might be why Tal resigned this game.
Sep-09-05  MoonlitKnight: I'm pretty sure this was a blitz game. That explains the poor quality of play.
Sep-09-05  alexandrovm: Actually is an <active> game, whatever that means...
Sep-09-05  MoonlitKnight: That means Tal was drunk.
Sep-11-05  alexandrovm: Nice joke my friend. Now, seriously, what could have happend in this game? What is an <active> game? Anybody knows something about this?
Sep-11-05  RookFile: Active probably means 30 minutes
for the whole game. Tal's problem
probably was that he WASN'T drunk.
Sep-11-05  alexandrovm: hey <rookfile>, thanks my friend:)

technical draw: <Lennonfan> Give yourself some time. You'll figure it out.
Jan-13-11  Lennonfan: <T.D.> i see you deleted my last post on your forum,so instead il address you here,in public,as you do to other "less fortunate" kibitzers...SO,if you were to remove ur head from <jessicafischergroupies>colon you'd realise that your sarcastic sense of humor is about as amusing as chlamidia, and ur award for funniest kibitzer of the yr is actually humerous in itself...in particular ur acceptance speech *cringe*...your about as funny as the legendary <AJ Goldsby>....As i said im here at chessgames.com to learn from other more intelligent, skilled, and better informed kibitzers than your good self..i trust that in future if you do have any "humerous"posts to direct at others, which you have done in the past often, you'd instead aim them at me as i can lyrically slay you on all matters chess, and other topics if you wish.... Best regards

Jan-13-11  Lennonfan: <T.D>the answer to ur seemingly rhetorical question is apple juice...
Jan-13-11  Lennonfan: <Technicalknockout>well for a man who i quote has said "T.D doesnt learn he steals" And "I did a dime in OSP for B&E" amongst many other classical posts...........im guessing its you??

technical draw: I won't comment anymore nonsense on this Dzinzi-Tal game. Even if he did lose Tal doesn't deserve it.
Aug-08-11  Mostolesdude: I was like, "what the hell happened to Tal" and then I looked at the year in this game, 1991, that explains it..
Feb-28-12  peristilo: OMG! I am so happy to find out I play just like Tal, too! LOL!
