Oct-05-12  wordfunph: this may be the game that GM Torre related that Tal remarked before the game, "Eugenio, are you playing for a win today?"

1/2 in 21 moves :)

FSR: Tal had a terrible score against Torre, it seems. http://www.chessgames.com/perl/ches... But how did they play <three> games in Brussels 1987?
Oct-05-12  RookFile: It's strange to see white give up the dark squared bishop like that. I'm sure it must be ok for a draw, but it's not usually how you do it.

perfidious: <FSR> This was from SWIFT; the other two games were from a blitz event held during the regular tourney.

Bro, this is not the game. If I remember correctly, that game happened in 1991 in the U.S. which was the San Francisco Open.

Oct-05-12  wordfunph: padre <spawn2> thanks for the correction.
