nasmichael: Golsta plays aggressively here, but Flohr brings some good responses to the aggressive questions.
Nov-21-10  roastedrook: doesn't deserve to be the game of the day :(
Nov-21-10  KholdStare: I agree it's not exactly a great game, but it's Flohr's birthday after all.
Nov-21-10  Tigranny: Must've been selected as game of the day because the Kg2?? blunder and the Nf4 fork of the king, queen, and rook. Happy birthday Flohr though.
Nov-21-10  goodevans: You can't call Kg2 a blunder - it's the only move!

If there was a "blunder" at the end then it was 34 Qxe6. After that all white's moves were forced.

Nov-21-10  WhiteRook48: family fork
Nov-21-10  licuan: Salomon Flohr did some fork sweeping . . . . nice GOTD!
Nov-21-10  Naugh: Nice three-pronged fork.

Chessmensch: Gosta la vista, baby. No pride in that.
Nov-21-10  ICCM Bart Gibbons: Instead of 20. Bxh7+, 20.Qh5 looks very strong.

RandomVisitor: <ICCM Bart Gibbons>20.Qh5 might not be best due to 20...g6 21.Qg4 Nxe5 22.dxe5 Qxb2 but I could be wrong...

RandomVisitor: 21.Rc6! is playable and arguably best.

Incredibly, bxc6 sets up a perpetual check where white can take the pawn on e6:

21.Rc6! bxc6 (Qxc6=) 22.g6+ fxg6 23.Qh3+ Kg8 24.Qxe6+

kevin86: It looked like white was going to win this opus, but black rallied to "FLOHR" his opponent.
