al wazir: 16. Bc7! was a strong move, but black might have saved the game by playing 17...Kh8 instead of e6.
Sep-19-06  Cyphelium: <al wazir> It looks like black will end up in a bad endgame an exchange down after 17.- ♔h8 18. dxe7 ♖e8 19. ♕xd7, for example 19.- ♘xd7 20. ♗d6 with ♗f7 coming next or 19.- ♗xd7 20. ♗d6 ♘e6 21. ♘d4 ♘xd4 22. cxd4 again with ♗f7 coming. Giving the exchange immediatly with 18.- ♕xc7 might be better, but after 19. exf8+ ♗xf8 20. ♕d4, white is still seemingly in charge.
