Chessical: A very energetically played game by Olland; his opponent does not make an obvious error but loses the initiative and gets pressed back.

<30. Kg2> Rh5 31. Qe4 Bc5 32. Rd2 Qh3+ 33. Kf2 seems to be an improvement. Von Popiel's actual move of <30. Nf3> unnecessarily and dangerously opens the diagonal to his King.

Olland would not then have had the opportunity to play:

<31... Qg4!> 32. Nd4 (32. Qxb7? loses after Rh3) 33. Qe4 Qxg3+ 34. Ke3 Bc5+ winning.
