  Tabanus: I like to believe that White is the problem composer Johannes Jacob Burbach (1921-2003), but unable to prove it.

At least this guy posed problems to Hebden! :)

  perfidious: <Tabanus> Found some games elsewhere from a player called Reinhold Burbach, mostly played in opens at Bochum in 1978-79, but the only other source providing this also gives simply 'Burbach'.
