Jan-09-07		chancho: <percyblakeney> I counted 17 games lost by Janowsky to Lasker from 1909 until 1924. Poor Jan, that's quite a beatdown.

May-18-08		keypusher: <wrap99> After 33....Rxc1 34. Qd2 the weakness of the black king's shelter is decisive, e.g. 34....Rce1 35. Qxd5 R1e3+ 36. Kh4 Rc3 37. Qg5 and White will play Qg7+ and Qg8+, then take the black f-pawn and advance his own. (Shredder) Still a little surprising that Lasker resigned here, but the game was probably adjourned at this point, so he could have analyzed it overnight and decided it was hopeless.
