  Jim Bartle: 27. Qxb7 is Kamsky's big mistake, allowing the combination which wins the white queen. Still took a long time for Short to win, though.

Kamsky seemed to be either amazingly resourceful and tough to beat, or at other times, kept playing well beyond the point he was clearly out of hope. He brought a lot of excitement to world chess (despite his ridiculous father's antics); it's too bad he's not around any more.
