Aug-06-04  lordhazol: Good defence!! Attack takes applause, defence takes poins.
Aug-06-04  tomh72000: Applause is better than poins ;)
Oct-24-04  chesed: Pointless attack by Morozevich!
Feb-07-07  kiadd: it was fine defence, but the attack was horrible, he had no plan if black just ignored him gained material
Apr-27-07  Vollmer: We can certainly give 19.Rbd1 a "?" but the trouble starts long before that . Perhaps 10.Qb3 is better ...? 10...e6 11.OO and perhaps White can bring pressure on the e file .

Drive for show , putt for dough ?

Apr-27-07  dumbgai: Remember that Moro was only about 15 years old when he played this game. Surely it's games like this that taught him how to attack like he does now!
Aug-20-08  Woody Wood Pusher: It just isn't possible to win against Karpov like that...but then Moro was only young! He just ripped Kramnik apart in the Tal-M so he learned from games like this well!
Aug-20-08  zanza: Moro was only 15 years old, at that time... and 24. Rd3? followed by 26. dxe5?! reminds me The Sorrows of a Young Werther Chess Player :-) But Morozevich is really great chess player!
Apr-02-10  Chess Network: I think after 16...Bxe4 it was already a tough road for Moro. No more attack for white and an active position for black.
