Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-13-05  nadz2850: why resign??
Nov-07-05  seeminor: Black is strategically busted! The Bishop on g7 is hitting air, the white squared bishop is trapped on a useless diagonal. White has a knight on d5 which cant be challenged and is an exchange up. Karpov would make short work if he carried on
Aug-14-12  Everett: It looks like Miles burnt his bridges with 19..exf4?

Yes he gets the two bishops and activity for the exchange, but Karpov seems to deal with it quite easily. Certainly more sane was <19..Rdd8 20.Be2! Be6 21.f5> when Karpov is forcing the exchange of Black's LSB (a good piece in this position) but it is not a disaster at this point.

Nov-30-15  Ulhumbrus: One question is why Miles made the concession 13...e6. One answer is that his men were not placed well for alternative plans.
