Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-24-04  yetiish: Aside from the 1st 3 moves, this game is identical to another Kasparov vs. Lputian match in Daugavpils, 1978 in the database (the other begins 1. d4). Which one is the actual game, assuming that this is a notation mishap?
Dec-04-18  MrJafari: Why Black resigns in this point? It seems a little unripe!
Dec-04-18  Howard: He's already two pawns down, and a third one is about to drop. Not only that, the f-pawn is about to move forward a square, upon which White's queen goes to f4, where it'll be threatening to exchange off with Black's queen.

I'd resign, myself, if I was in Black's position.

Dec-06-18  MrJafari: <Howard>: Thank you for your comprehensive reply, but I'm not sure if Kasparov would resign in this position as Black and me too!
