Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-25-03  jaime gallegos: after 17. Re1 is so huge the central development of all the Keres figures that he could break the center with the Bishop sac 18. Bxd6
Jul-22-05  EmperorAtahualpa: It's not a Bishop sac....20.e5
May-13-06  DeepBlade: Indeed, and you cant see a bishop sac logo (sac explorer).

Wel actually the ''sac'' forces Black into a pin, so it depends on what you think a ''sac'' is.

But it sure strips the king of its protection, and gets the threats going!

May-18-11  Shams: Apropos the sac argument below, there should be a "petite combination" explorer.

Here white has played 7.0-0 and in the game black followed with 7...Be7. What is white's best if black snatches on e4? I'm looking at 8.Bxf7+ and 9.Ng5+.

Jun-07-15  ToTheDeath: As Kasparov might say ...Nb8 and ...Bf8 are "moves from Mars". Black waited far too long to castle.

An Englishman: Good Evening: Where's Scully when you really need her? Perhaps we can describe this game as another episode of "The F-Files."
Jun-08-15  ToTheDeath: LOL! Very clever English.

whiteshark: <ToTheDeath: Black waited far too long to castle.> My 1st thought, too. However after short castling, wasn't there a fatal Bxh6 followed by Qxh6 in the air?

With that in mind I'd opt for <11...Qd7> followed by <...0-0-0> now.
