Kibitzer's Corner
May-29-13  zydeco: A good, tough draw. 26.f4 and 30.h3 are feisty moves: Keres figures that he's worse, tosses a pawn and then doesn't bother to recover it (30.Qxd5 Qxd5 31.Nxd5 Rd8 32.Rxf4 Rxd5 33.h3 gives black a very small endgame advantage). 33....Qb1 seems a little over-subtle; why not take a pawn with check?
May-30-13  zydeco: According to Bronstein, Keres thought for two hours over his sixth move. An alternative to the way he played is 7.Qxe4 Qe7 8.d4 Ng6.
