Kibitzer's Corner
May-25-05  paladin at large: 10....Nxe4 seems ill advised - it wins a pawn for black, but white's 12. f4 brings two white pieces into the attack and the black bishop on h4 has to retreat to e7, where it is not effective and also blocks help to the king.

Old Tartakower goes down fighting against a top opponent - his last game in the database.

Jan-01-08  WhoKeres: The tactics in the middlegame and Keres' use of his King Bishop are very impressive. Keres was always a great player when he could directly attack his opponent's KIng, like in this game.
