Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-19-19  Cheapo by the Dozen: I wonder whether that was a deliberate trap. If Black avoids it, the engine gives White a modest advantage. If White doesn't see the opportunity, the engine sees a draw.
Apr-19-19  knightsaretricky: Pony meet corral
Apr-19-19  7he5haman: If 37...Kf8 then 38.Bd8 Ke8 39.e7 and it's all over, White's King will gobble up the Black pawns.
Apr-19-19  mrknightly: Would someone explain the "pun." Thanks.
Apr-19-19  TheTamale: <mrknightly> It's a pun on the title of a (cult favorite...?) movie "My Dinner With Andre." Definitely worth a watch--it's pretty much exactly what the title of the movie says.
Apr-19-19  catlover: Knights on the rim grow dim.
Apr-19-19  Saniyat24: Too many elephants on the bee-line...!
Apr-19-19  TheBish: Love the "pun"! Can we stop calling it a pun? Game title is more accurate. If it happens to be a pun (and a good one), more power to it.

Aw c'mon Bish, the pun is stupid.

The player's name is Andre, there is a film called 'My Dinner with Andre', lets use that.

The pun has nothing to do with the game. Look at the trapped Knight.

'Hard Days Knight'

'Fright Knight'

'Silent Knight'

'Black Knight...'is a long way from home.'

A little bit of research revealed that the 23rd of July was a Saturday.

'Saturday Knight Fever.'
