Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-25-03   hickchess99: 24...Rg6, the quiet winner
Feb-07-04   SamusAran: White was just in a bad position from the start
Sep-30-04   Elrathia Kingi: Looks to me like 9.h3 and 15.d4 are both mistimed. White needed a piece developed at 9, and instead broke what little defence he had. I'm not really sure what he is thinking at 15.d4, Nc3 would have been better. Beautiful Queen sac.
Apr-02-07   Skylark: This is a nice example of two bishops ripping up an open position.
Mar-07-08   wolfmaster: Kieseritsky wasn't easy to Desloge!

  Northsea: 24.-Rg6 was definitely not the quite winner since White could answer with 25.f5! (if then 25.-Ng8? 26.Qc1! (not 27. fg:?? fg:# or hg:#) Rh6+ 27.Qxh6 Nh6: 28.Nc3 ). The best answer of Black after 25.f5 would be 25. - Bf5: but after 26. Qc1! Bd7 27. Nc3! Ng8 29.Nd5 White would be happy.

Instead the queen sacrifice on the 20th move was the loud looser. Impressive no question, but not correct. It was a failure.

Instead 20.-Qg6+ would lead to an unclear position with equal chances.
