KingG: Very nice game, and a good one to know because Black's opening moves are quite common. White is better out of the opening even without the pretty tactics at the end.

Black's 9....Ng6 was improved upon with 9...Bxf3 in Hector vs Skembris, 1989, but White still does well out of the opening even though he went on to lose the game. So i think this whole line is probably bad.

Aug-27-10  EinZweiDrei: After 8. Bxf4, White "has the pawn *and* the compensation."

Shams: After 8.Bxf4 material is even, but yeah, white is much better. Still I think 5.Ke2 is an improvement.
