wwall: Perhaps better is 15...cxd4 16.Bxd4 Bxd4 17.Qxd4 Qf6, and Black may be better.

Perhaps best is 17...Nxd4, since 18.Qf7+ Qe7 holds.

If 18...Qe7, then 19.Be6+ Kc7 (19...Kd8 20.Qg8+ Qe8 21.Bg5+) 20.Nd5+.

After 19.Nd5, White threatens 20.Bb5 mate. If 19...a6, then 20.Bg5 wins.

Nov-03-06  RookFile: Well, I can't believe ...c5 was a good idea for black in the first place, when he's already lagging in development.
Jul-14-14  TheBish: At first I thought Black blundered with 18...Ne7, but he loses his queen or gets mated trying to save it after 18...Qe7 19. Be6+ Kd8 (19...Kc7 20. Nd5+) 20. Qg8+ Qe8 21. Bg5+ Ne7 22. Bxe7+ Kxe7 23. Nd5+ Ke8 24. Qg5+ and mates.
