  mjmorri: The late GM, Edmar Mednis, used to like to use this game as an example of move order tricks.

It looks like Huebner is going to play a Queen's Gambit accepted. When Korchnoi plays 4.Nc3 instead of 4.e3, Huebner surprises him with 4...c6 creating a Slav formation which Korchnoi, at the time, was known to be uncomfortable with.

This slight edge in preparation, along with good technique, nets Huebner the full point.

A valuable lesson for players at all levels.
