Jun-08-13  csmath: Why did Tukmakov agree to a draw here? I think this had to be played out and given the bizzare nature of Korchnoi's play I think black would have had some chances.

This must have been some team strategy consideration.

Jun-08-13  RookFile: Agreed that Korchnoi took an odd route to get to the position, but the final position at the and of the game does appear equal. Can't even see a realistic threat black can make.
Aug-10-18  Olavi: Of course Black would happily play on, were it not that it was the last round of USSR vs. Rest of the World. A draw was great.
