Sep-23-04  InspiredByMorphy: I respect Kramnik more and more each game of his I watch. I dont agree with the belief Ive seen from some that he is usually all to happy to draw. In this game hes a pawn up and turns down the draw with 30.Bg5 because he wants to win! Even though he doesent win, its not because he played poorly after 30.Bg5 but because his opponent played excellently. Anyhow, I think its admirable that he turned down the draw. At least he went out swinging!

acirce: Well, this was in 1991, quite a while ago. He was 15 or 16 at the time. I haven't looked at this specific game but his style has changed a bit since the 90's.
