Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-12-05  DAL9000: Fast times at Ridgemont High!

What happens on 24. Nxg2, though?

Dec-12-05  mr. nice guy: If 24.Nxg2 then. 24..Nf4 should end it.
Dec-12-05  DAL9000: <If 24.Nxg2 then. 24..Nf4 should end it.>

What about 25. Ng3 there with Bf1 the next move if Black plays Qh3/f3, or what about just skipping straight to 25. Bf1? It seems like there are so many defenses available to White-- I can't see how Black would overcome them, although, given the strength of these two players, it's pretty clear that eventually he /would/.

Dec-12-05  mr. nice guy: There are a lot of combinations possible. And maybe after it's all over black winds up winning the bishop on f8.
Dec-12-05  Boomie: Kupreichik missed the simple 19...Bxf3 20. Bxf3 Rxf3 21. gxf3 Qxh3
Mar-08-11  Robeson: Dal9000, on your 24. Nxg2 Nf4 25. Ng3, then 25...Qxg3 26. Bf1 Bxf2+ 27. Qxf2 Nh3+ wins the house.
