| joupajou: 20.Ng4 was a good move. It's f6 again that's in the spotlight. Open h file looks good for white, too. Black's position isn't desperate now, not at all. Pawn sac 20. ..e3 is possible here. Rakic chose to play 20. ..Qd7, forcing himself to exchange his strong bishop in g7 to BN: 21.Nf6+ Bxf6 22.Bxf6 - and now white controls the important diagonal a1-h8. The more I go through these games the better I fall into conclusion that there's much more in chess than just the openings. It's kinda like tennis: you might get some points with your powerful first serve, but what if the guy you're playing with is an expert in returning serves? 0-6, 0-6, thanks a lot.
