luzhin: I suppose Ljubo's idea had been to play 18... Qd4 CHECK and the knight wriggle out if 19 Qxd4 with 19..Ne2 CHECK and Nxd4. But White will play 19.Rf2, and if Ljubo protects the Q with 19...c5 then 20.Nf3 and if 20..Qxd3 then 21 cxd3 and the rook will sidle across to c2 finally winning the knight on c3.

Eggman: Too clever by half, luzhin. Surely White would respond to 18...Qd4+ with 19.Qxd4 CHECK!
