Ulhumbrus: Korchnoi has said in his autobiography "Chess is my life" that the games of last rounds which are played in the morning are often not fit for publication.

I think that Miles said in one chess column that Ljubojevic played the opening "like an idiot" in the present game, and Miles may have played the Black side of it not much better, possibly because the two players played this last round game in the morning. Miles did not say what he considered Ljubojevic's mistakes to be.

Suppose that instead of 7...0-0 Black pins White's N on c3 by 7..Qa5 as in the game Geller vs Averbakh, 1953 Then on 8 Bd2 Qc5 forks White's N on d4 and the B on c4.

After 8 Nf3 an alternative to 8...Qa5 is 8...Qb6 hindering White from castling and iccupying the weakened g1-a7 diagonal woth the Queen.
