Mating Net: White mates in a couple of moves with with Qh6+ followed by Qxf8+ and Qxg8#.
Jun-18-17  DeanS: Can someone show me the moves to mate? I don't see it. Very frustrating.

  OhioChessFan: 27. Re7 and Black can't take, for example 27..Rxe7 28. Rxe7 and if 28..Qxe7, then Qh6+ mates in a couple moves. The whole plan would be 27. Re7 Rxe7 28. Rxe7 Qxe7 29. Qh6+ Qh7 30. Qxf8+ Qg8 31. Qxg8#

If White doesn't capture on e7, then:
27. Re7 g5 28. Rxf7 Rxf7 29. Bxf7 Qxf7 30. Qg5 and Black is crushed. I don't see a quick mate in this line, but Black has no hope.

Jun-18-17  DeanS: Yes of course. I downloaded a tactics pgn file and this is the only one that stumped me. I should have had it. Thanks so much. I am just not sure which way to go: study openings, tactics, etc. or resort to a swift kick to the opponents knee.
