24. Bg5!
Threatening the rook, and mate by Bf6. So Black gives back the exchange.

*****

27. Rg5!
Threatening mate in 1.
27...h6 is no good owing to the seesaw 28.Bf6+ Kh7 29.Rg7+ Kh8 30.Rd7+ etc. So Black has to play 27...h5.

Soon White is three passed pawns ahead and Black calls it a day.

Jul-15-17  sudoplatov: One point one sees in Capablanca and Alekhine and Lasker is also shown here. A attack may not lead directly to mate but to improvements in one's own position relative to the opponent's.
Jul-15-17  WorstPlayerEver: Marshall's comment on the opening:

"Did I really play this?! Such listless openings are rare in my games!"
