  kevin86: Here is one of those odd position that should win but can't. The only hope for progress was an exchange of knight for black's lone pice and pawn. The result would have been bishop + pawn vs king.

Alas,the bishop cannot cover a8-and thus black's king cannot be driven from the queening square and the game is DRAWN.

Mar-17-08   lentil: I think 135 ... Be2 is a typo for ... Bc2. Otherwise, W just snaps the a-pawn
