Tal himself remarked that O'Kelly could have won by playing 30. f7!, giving the variation 30.- xg5 (30.- gf8 31. f4 e5 32. e2 ) 31. hxg5 xf7 32. g6 f5 33. f1 e4 34. g5 e5 click for larger view 35. f8+! xf8 36. g7+ g8 37. h7+ xh7 38. gxf8+ h8 39. g6+, winning the queen.
