Kibitzer's Corner
May-30-03  drukenknight: Ugi here is the classic B sack on e6 in the sicilian. It is well played for sure. Evans criticizes 10...Qb6 suggesting Qa5 but it looks Szabo has the right idea I think.

Play with the position for awhile before trying this in a game. There are all sorts of mating traps in there. For example 12...Bb7? 13 Nc7+ followed by Qe6 mates. Lots of stuff like that really interesting.

What if white starts w/ 11 Qe2 and then does that exchange with the Ns?

Apr-04-05  Whitehat1963: Bold play by the Player of the Day that begins with a bishop sac on move 9 and leads to an old-fashioned pasting. Very entertaining game!
Sep-03-11  druknight: coming back to this after awhile. It looks like black needs to get the pin in immediately as Qg6 does not put enuf pressure on the K. So:

10...Qa5
11 00 Qb6+
12. Kh1 Bb7
13. Nd5 Bxd5
14. exd5 Kf7

11…b4 may work in that line but I have doubts
