Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-29-09  killercorwin: This is kind of a wicked game. Petrosian maintains a subtle tactical pressure the entire game, despite primarily playing a positional game and preparing countermoves against Zagorovsky's threats. I was impressed by the way he managed to hold his e and f pawns in reserve through the opening and most of the middle game, and then bring them into play when they could do the most damage as the end game came round.
