  zydeco: Petrosian sets up a winning game in his style, and then blunders a pawn with 24....Nxf5.

Petrosian's idea is to box in the white bishop between the c3 and f4 pawns, which is the point of his exchange on move 14. Petrosian comments that 14....e3 may have been objectively stronger, but he preferred a plan "based on defining the purely positional defects in white's position."

Donner should have played 17.f5, freeing the bishop even if the pawn ends up being lost.

Black's position is so strong that, even after blundering the king pawn, he has an advantage, but Petrosian seems to lose his ambition and takes the draw.
