17.Qh5! Winning immediately. With Blacks DSB unguarded his position falls apart not being able to regain material. Theory had overlooked this simple move causing a line to be mis-evaluated.

However, two years previously Sosonko had actually found this improvement in the rapid game Sosonko - Ligterink (currently not in the CG database). So I suspect Sosonko should be the one to get the credit here.
