Feb-11-08		Tomlinsky: Polugaevsky is credited for an improvement in this line which led to a re-evaluation of a whole variation that was for decades held that, if entered, was good for Black... click for larger view 17.Qh5! Winning immediately. With Blacks DSB unguarded his position falls apart not being able to regain material. Theory had overlooked this simple move causing a line to be mis-evaluated. However, two years previously Sosonko had actually found this improvement in the rapid game Sosonko - Ligterink (currently not in the CG database). So I suspect Sosonko should be the one to get the credit here.
