tpstar: Computer dynamics. When humans play 8. Qf3, they tend to grab the second Pawn with 8 ... Rb8 9. Bxc6+ Nxc6 10. Qxc6+ Nd7, then Black must play energetically to justify 2 Pawns. But computers prefer the ugly 9. Bd3, centralizing the Bishop while leaving the Na5 out there. Then Black should proceed with 9 ... h6, then 10 ... g6 & 11 ... Bg7 over 9 ... Bd6!? as below. Still, computers must play faster if they want to win.

tomasazor-tpstar0 (Yahoo 9/12/04): 8. Qf3 Rb8 9. Bd3 Bd6!? (9 ... h6 & 10 ... g6) 10. Nc3 0-0 11. 0-0 h6 12. Ne4 Nd5 13. Nxd6 (that's why) Qxd6 14. Be2 f5 15. d3 Be6 16. Re1 Nxc3 17. bxc3 Bd5 18.
