Kibitzer's Corner
May-22-06   blingice: Good attack by black, but white defended quite well. The bishop trap at the end seems serendipitous (I know I wouldn't have seen it, it would just be something that happened.) It really displays the use of a pin: If 25..Qd7 26. Qxd7, the bishop is pinned and can't take the queen. If the black queen moves anywhere else, the bishop is lost.

Also, the opening (Sicilian, Rossolimo Variation (B31)) seems very common, but I think this is the first game I have seen of it in the database. I HAVE heard of the Rossolimo Variation, so I may not have payed attention.
