  tpstar: 5. d3 in the Vienna Gambit is the Oxford Variation. Note the finesse 8 ... Bb4+ inducing 9. Bd2 to trade dsb. 11. c3 is more common than 11. Qf2 Opening Explorer but both branches leave White with creaky Pawns. 20 ... Rxc1 21. Rxc1 Rxd4! exploited the Overloaded Qd2 and Black won a Pawn. At the end, 32 ... Qh1+ forces a Queen trade into a won K&P endgame: 33. Ke3 Qg1+; 33. Kd3 Qd1+; 33. Kf5?? Qb1+ 34. Qe4 g6+ wins the Queen, or else 34. Kg5 Qg6#.
