Nov-07-05  Runemaster: 24...Bc6 and the follow-up is the Revenge of the French Bishop!
Nov-07-05  DeepBlade: Svetozar Gligoric, didnt this guy invented the Gligoric System?
Nov-07-05  RookFile: Sure. Gligorich was a very strong player, who contested a match with Reshevsky for the unofficial championship of the western world, and also put wins up on the board against champions such as Botvinnik, Tal, and Fischer.
Nov-07-05  DeepBlade: <RookFile> thanks for the additional info. Ive followed his educational demonstrations on chess.fm , how to play the Gligoric system, and of course (IM) Danny Copec, with his Copec System.
Jun-01-08  Kapablanca: Superb game.

Nigel Short at his best. Botvinnik and Smislov liked this game so much.

I consider this one and the one with the killing king-walk _poor Timman, that king coming up to his kingdom and his whole army with no choices that all to avoid it for so-so many moves... Jaja!_ as Nigel Short best games.

May-19-15  SpiritedReposte: Those pawn sacs started and 1,2,3 game over.
